I had a new Carrier system installed through them last year, I can't say enough good things about the business, and their employees, but I will try. First, Rhonda at the desk was amazing, worked through the details of everything with me, made sure I WASN'T paying for anything I didn't need, and made sure I was happy with everything, their price was also significantly lower than anyone else in the area. The installation crew, (I wish I remembered the two gentleman's names, but the old review I wrote seems to have not taken and they didn't have the info when I called the desk) were amazing. They were super friendly, knew exactly what they were doing, walked me through the system and the thermostat, and even helped with things that were wrong without gouging the price further.This brings me to today. My AC stopped working two nights ago, and I called today to schedule a repair for tomorrow. The engineer, Alex, called me at the end of his shift of his own accord and told me he was looking over tomorrow's jobs and saw my issue and thought he knew what was wrong with it. He walked me through the re installation process and I have AC again. Integrity and customer service is so hard to find in any industry, especially in this area, and if you are reading this you know exactly what I am talking about. The tech actually was reading through tomorrows jobs on his own, and because he cared about my comfort and well-being, he called to make sure I was taken care of instead of coming tomorrow, and running through a cryptic process that no one would know how to do unless you knew how to navigate the system and charging me hundreds of dollars to essentially reinstall the firmware.If you are in the market, you are making a huge mistake if you do not call Advantage. And if you aren't satisfied, hell, I will give you a money back guarantee, (not really, but I am confident). These people can't have high enough praise spoken for them. Thank you, this is the best I can do to repay your kindness and professionalism.*Quick edit, the working ac was short lived and gave out next day. Alex and Ian came by and everything is running perfectly now, guess something went out. Also, Alex was the person that called, not Matt, sorry I have horrible memory and asked the front desk who it was. These guys are awesome.

The installation team was quick, effective, and timely and made sure to clean up after themselves.The reason I went with Advantage over my other two quotes was Daniel’s ability to meet me where I was at in his quote. He was the only one out of three to offer me three quotes ranging in price - bare minimum repair, second tier repair, and full replacement. Full replacement was the only option from the other companies despite stressing I needed to be budget friendly right now but could later move to full replacement of my ductwork when timing was right. Nothing against the other two companies - I’m sure they are great too but what I needed is someone to hear my current needs and focus only on that for a quote instead of pushing payment plans and doing a full replacement. His budget friendly quote focused on my current exact needs and how they could fix the urgent needs now. He was kind, caring, and understanding that financially I needed to focus on the bare minimum. He left the decision as to how much I wanted to spend up to me which built trust that he was looking out for my needs and wants for the repair and not upselling. I don’t doubt full replacement would be the easiest and best way to go so no fault to any of the companies recommending it but In my current place - the quick fix was what I could do. Overall, I’m super happy with my choice and their work was done well. Thankful for finding a good AC company to work with for my Ac needs.

Our recirculating pump had become quite noisy.I am a contractor but I’m new to the area and not familiar with a recirculating system because we don’t have them in my part of the country.Advantage was recommended to me by a friend so I gave them a call.Kaeden was my technician and he answered all my questions about how the system operated and we came up with a suitable repair plan to fix our problem.It turns out the system was not installed properly initially so that was why we didn’t have any hot water when the pump wasn’t operating.We ordered a new pump and check valve and Kaeden did a very neat professional job on the installation.I would highly recommend this company if you have any plumbing needs.John

Just now getting around to leaving my review. I was proactive before the weather got warm and had several companies come out and give me an estimate. This isn't a new rodeo for me so I knew what questions to ask and how to read the folks. I'm from St. Louis and I must say there are some umm how do I say this politely overpriced HVAC companies in Panama City. Don't presume because I'm a women I have no clue on respectable quotes. I gave up on the quotes and decided to contact the air conditioning company that came out when I had a home warranty. I was confused because when they answered they said a different company name than what I called. I thought, Nope not today, will I be scammed so I hung up and called back. The same person answered. I explained my issue and got on the schedule for an appointment, still a bit leery.They sent a guy out, Duo, was his name. He looked at everything and gave me what I will call a fair quote, not the worst but still not the best quote I think for the job. Duo was warm, friendly, and professional. Àlthough I wasnt won over by the price I felt no shadiness with him. Once I made my decision I called the company, knowing I had one other company I wanted to get a quote from, which was Advantage.I did not realize it was considered after hours when I called so I left a message. A man called me back within 15 minutes and answered all of my many questions. He was extremely patient and polite with me. As we kept talking, I told him about the my confusion because I called one company yet when they answer the phone they said a different company which was Advantage. He laugh and explain he owned the other company and joined forces with Advantage.He gave me a GREAT price for a top brand unit. We lined up my install knowing I would not be in town. Duo and a coworker came and did the install. They did an excellent job, in and out on the same day. I have a wall unit dehumidifier and they worked its drainage to be effective with my new unit. On top of that, they sent me a thank you card for doing business with them!In summary, great price, excellent unit, professional employee makes Advantage the best in Panama City.

We had to have a kitchen faucet replaced. I reached out to Advantage based on positive comments posted to a FB group I belong to. I was able to schedule my appt online … very easy. The plumber showed up on time. Turns out, he’d worked at our house once before (he worked for a different company then), but HE remembered US. My husband is so appreciative of this gentleman (apologies as his name escapes me) because when he was at the house the first time, there was an issue near the water meter. He was there from the water company and determined that the prob was not the responsibility of the water company BUT he stayed to help my husband get it fixed. I called Advantage after another large company in the area did a subpar job on my AC units' maintenance (had a maintenance contract with them). Maybe a coincidence, but the day after maintenance one system blower went out and 2 days later, one of the other system blowers went out. Matt came in from Advantage and fixed everything that had been done wrong or not done at all (cleaning) during "maintenance." He was on time, very polite and friendly, very knowledgeable and I did not feel like he was pushing me to buy other things (like the other company). Advantage's pricing was better as well. Our A/C went out on the hottest day of the year. I called Rhonda and she promised someone would be out today. Was surprised when Andrew, the very talented tech, showed up within an hour because there were many work orders in process. He quickly determined the capacitor shorted out (gecko fried) and replaced it. He also checked the system out for freon leaks and other stuff. He went above and beyond cleaning out the clogged condensation drain line. I highly recommend Advantage HPE / Air Conditioning Engineers.

I was in a major pinch with a short term rental property, the HVAC on the 3rd floor in the attic of a home in Santa Rosa Beach went out on Friday of Memorial day weekend. I planned to move the guest but was told a new AC unit could be installed if I was able to quickly get approval from the homeowner. I was shocked, vendors in Florida are normally booked out, much less able to install same day. Matt was the tech on the job and he was beyond amazing! He made the magic happen, sent me a quote, and waited patiently for me to contact the owner for approval. He then did the install and the guest had air conditioning by 5pm same day! After talking with the Tech decided to replace my old AC unit and glad I chose to the old unit was pushing 18 years.
